Muzik indie semestinya bukan satu genre yang asing buat aku. Aku boleh dikatakan membesar mendengar lagu2 dari band indie terdahulu seperti Stone Roses, The Smiths, Joy Division dan sebagainya. Although pada masa aku masih remaja dahulu (dekad 90an) terma "indie" amat jarang diterapkan dalam media massa ketika itu, namun muzik dari scene Britpop sentiasa menarik minat aku, still have a special place in my heart.

Sekarang kalau sebut indie, budak2 generasi new millenium akan ingat band2 seperti Hujan, Azlan & The Typewriter, Pesawat, Bittersweet, Meet Uncle Hussain dan sebagainya, which is okay for me. Evolusi itu penting bagi meneruskan legasi sesebuah genre. I respect these young bloods. Diorang pun kerja keras untuk berada di posisi mereka sekarang. Ok enough with my mengomel2 tentang muzik indie, di bawah merupakan beberapa lagu2 rayu dari band alternative rock/indie/post-grunge dari nusantara kita.

Yuna - Raya Oh Yeah (Official Music Video). Lagu dari Yuna ni agak special sebab feel jazzy dan catchy. Produced by AG CoCo (gitaris Hujan). Anyway congrats to Yuna sebab berjaya participate di festival Lollapalooza di USA pada 5 Ogos 2012

Force Vormit - Selera Raya (with lyrics). Band Indie dari Singapura ini dah lama menempa nama di dalam scene indie bawah tanah negara kita ni. Huge respect for this band!

Butterfingers - Hari Raya Di Kuala Lumpur. Miss this band so much, things has never been the same semenjak ketiadaan Emmet (Butterfingers).
